This manual explains how to setup and run Seafile client from a pre-built package.

Components

Seafile client v3.0 consists of three components:

• ccnet-daemon: for networking
• seafile-daemon: for file syncing
• seafile-applet: GUI Client

Platform Support

• GUI Client (seafile-applet)
  • Availabe on Ubuntu 12.04 or above
  • Availabe on Windows XP/Vista/7/8
  • Availabe on Mac OS X 10.6 or above
  • Availabe on Android
  • Availabe on iOS (App Store)
• Terminal Client (ccnet-daemon, and seafile-applet)
  • Runs on Generic Linux
  • Runs on Windows XP/Vista/7/8
  • Runs on Mac OS X 10.6 or above
